Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research, and supports research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses. With around 285,000 new cases of cancer diagnosed in the UK each year, Cancer Research UK works hard to improve our understanding of cancer and develop better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
The Essential Race for Life will take place on Sunday 11th July at Newbury racecourse. To see how our fine fillies are getting on and to check out their form, head over to our news pages and get the inside scoop.
With training well underway and time flying by at its usual rate, we’re looking to our readers to please give whatever you can to this worthy cause, as someone once said, every little helps. In return, we promise photos of the suffering endured by the Essential Race forLife Team and guarantee a warm fuzzy feeling inside for doing something good.
Head over to the team’s Just Giving page a show your support! Donating online only takes a few minutes to complete.
